An Agreement was signed between Ministry Of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and Moldova

Delegation led by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Adrian Efros, came to our country for an official visit on May 24.
Minister, Adrian Efros and persons accompanied him went to Alley of Honor and honored the dear memory of our national Leader Heydar Aliyev. Later, Guests came to The Alley of Martyrs visited graves of citizens who became martyrs for independence of our country and territorial integrity  and laid a wreath in front of the “Eternal torch” monument.

On the same day, The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-general Vilayat Eyvazov received his Moldovan colleague and the delegation led by him.
Welcoming the guests, Minister V. Eyvazov noted with pleasure that the connections and mutual relations between Moldova and Azerbaijan are deepening.
He noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the development of relations with Moldova's law enforcement agencies, as well the Ministry of Internal Affairs, both bilaterally and multilaterally forms.

Pointing out the close and business relations between the relevant structures of our countries for many years, Colonel-General V.Eyvazov expressed interest in the exchange of previous experience and information, and he is confident that such meetings will contribute to the further development of relations and strengthening of cooperation.
The Minister of Internal Affairs touching on the current problems, mentioned the illegal circulation of drugs, international terrorism, human trafficking, illegal migration and cybercrime which is one of the main types of transnational organized crime emphasized the fight against is in the center of attention and it is possible to effectively fight against them only with joint efforts.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Adrian Efros, expressed his gratitude and confidence to his Azerbaijani colleague for the warm hospitality So, he said that the visit will give a new impetus to the further expansion of cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the two countries, that the institution he leads will spare no effort in this direction, that his Azerbaijani colleagues will fight against crime and public order that he is interested in learning the positive experience they have gained in the field of ensuring.

During the meeting, Ministers signed the "Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova".


As part of the visit, the guests visited the "N" military unit of the Internal Troops of the MIA, the "102" and "Safe City" services and got to know the activities of those institutions closely.
