On September 27, 2020, the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia brought under fire the settlements and military positions of the Republic of Azerbaijan with various types of weapons once again grossly violating the norms of international law. In order to prevent these attacks, the Azerbaijani Army launched the counter-offensive operation.
According to the latest information received, there are cases of dissemination of information about the situation in the frontline zone by some individuals, especially users of social networks and other digital platforms, about the military-political and operational situation, the deployment of troops, military equipment and its movement, combat weapons, as well as other information that undermines state security.

We bring to the attention of the public that in accordance with the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On State Secrets" of September 7, 2004 and the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On certain security precautions on the line of contact between the armed forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia" of September 24, 2014, appropriate liability is established for the dissemination of information prohibited by law.

Adequate measures will be taken in accordance with the requirements of the legislation against persons who distribute photographs, audio and video materials and other information about the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, military facilities and their purpose, strategic, operational and mobilization deployment of armed formations, the organizational structure of military units, and manpower.
Now that our army is conducting successful military operations, dealing crushing blows on the enemy and freeing our territories from occupation, we call on everyone to be mindful of their civil responsibility, be vigilant and attentive, and avoid any acts that could harm the state security of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the combat situation on the front line.
