A new educational building and a dormitory complex have been put into use at the Police Academy
21.10.2024Today, thanks to the attention and care of President Ilham Aliyev, the Police Academy, which has a rich 103-year tradition, has entered a stage of historical development. The newly built training building and the Academy's 1500-bed dormitory are now available to cadets, which is a vivid manifestation of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's comprehensive attention. Thanks to the recent work done, the infrastructural support has been brought to the highest level and the material and technical base has been further strengthened in order to realize the educational process at the Police Academy for the training of law enforcement officers in accordance with modern standards.
Cadets studying at the Police Academy acquire legal knowledge as well as scientific-theoretical practical knowledge in forensic research, information security and information technology, as well as ensuring human rights, logic and specialties that resonate with the challenges of the new era.
For scientific and practical discussions of international and national level, conference halls equipped with modern technical equipment and equipment for simultaneous translation are used, and to improve the quality of classes - lecture halls equipped with multimedia systems and means of audio-video control, allowing to promptly analyze lessons by interactive methods and increase the interest of students in the subject.
The academy provides ample opportunities for gaining specialized knowledge in the field of information security. Here, students learn effective ways to increase their resistance to cyberattacks in special laboratories, master network security and data protection methods with the help of professional teachers.
The indoor and interactive shooting range is equipped with 25-meter target complexes for pistol shooting, booths for simultaneous shooting of 12 people, electronic targets and monitors, as well as the necessary means of communication.
For the development of strength, flexibility and endurance in cadets there are gyms equipped with modern equipment at the sites of each dormitory and training building.
High-quality nutrition of the cadets will be provided with all-round conditions created in the 1000-seat canteen building, each designed for 500 people.
A new dormitory building with 880 beds, equipped with the necessary furniture and equipment, serves for the cadets to live and prepare for the next day.
In reading and recitation halls, equipped with didactic fund corresponding to the subjects taught, students have the opportunity to prepare for classes even in the evening, effectively organize their free time, follow the news about important socio-political and other events taking place in the country and the international world.
Zona recreation intended for that to student could rest on the fresh air outside the class and at the same time hold a discussion on the actual topic.
The work carried out on the basis of the most modern standards in the new training building of the Police Academy will contribute to the training of cadets as professional police officers, taking into account their educational level, physical strength, outlook and other qualities important for the service. Hundreds of young people graduating from the Academy will make a valuable contribution to protecting the stability and security of our country, both today and in the future, by distinguishing themselves through exemplary service in the internal affairs and other law enforcement agencies.
