The next graduation took place at the Military Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
21.06.2024On June 21, the Military Institute of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs held a ceremony dedicated to the graduation of the 2023-2024 academic year.
Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic, took part in the event.
At first, the dear memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the military servicemen and police officers who died for the sake of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country, who died while performing service-combat tasks was sung and the National Anthem of Azerbaijan was played.
Lieutenant General Shahin Mammadov, Deputy Minister - Commander of the Internal Troops, noted that the graduation is one of the significant events in the life of the Military Institute and reported on the work done in the direction of the development of the educational institution. Mr. Mammadov emphasized the strengthening of material-technical and educational base and upcoming tasks.
Then rector of the Military Institute, Major-General Elchin Mammadov assured Minister of Internal Affairs V. Eyvazov that the staff of the Institute will fulfill the requirements, orders and instructions regarding further improvement of the educational process, realization of training of qualified personnel, meeting the challenges and threats of modernity, he will always work diligently for full and high efficiency, without sparing its knowledge and skills.
Addressing the young officers, Minister Vilayat Eyvazov said that as a result of special attention and care of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev, today the Internal Troops are able to fulfill any combat task. Increase of combat readiness of the troops has always been controlled by the Commander-in-Chief, many important decisions have been taken in the field of provision of modern weapons and equipment, strengthening of social protection of the personnel.
The Minister noted with satisfaction that the Higher Military School of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was renamed the Military Institute of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev dated May 22, 2024.
It was emphasized that the construction works and reforms carried out in our country gave impetus to the development of the Military Institute along with military units of the Internal Troops.
The Minister of Internal Affairs specially emphasized the role of the Turkish Armed Forces, including the General Command of the Gendarmerie, in the formation of the professional core of the troops, and expressed his gratitude for the high combat readiness of the personnel.
Colonel General V.Eyvazov under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev said that in the Patriotic War, which ended with great victory, servicemen of the Internal Troops showed examples of heroism and patriotism at the front, and the fact that among them were graduates of the Military Institute, the cadets in this educational institution served the state, nation, the military emphasized as a clear evidence of persistent activity to form the spirit of loyalty at this moment.
Noting that a new era has begun in the lives of the graduates, the Minister of Internal Affairs congratulated the young officers, their parents and relatives on the successful completion of the Military Institute, expressed his gratitude to the management and staff of this higher educational institution. Institution that trains professional personnel for the Internal Troops, and wished them success in their activities.
Minister V.Eyvazov expressed his confidence that the personnel of Internal affairs bodies and Internal Troops will continue to faithfully serve the people and the state, will work hard for the proper fulfillment of assigned tasks.
The Minister of Internal Affairs presented diplomas to the graduates who graduated from the Military Institute with honors and the rank of "Chief-Lieutenant" at the end of the event.
At the end, the young officers marched in front of the tribune with a solemn march.
