On March 12, the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs celebrated the anniversary of their establishment. To mark the occasion, the Minister of Internal Affairs, General-Colonel Vilayat Eyvazov, along with the leadership of the Internal Troops and military personnel, visited the Alley of Honors to pay their respects to the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

On March 9, a delegation led by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Panche Toshkovski, arrived in our country for an official visit.

On January 24, a General Board meeting was held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, dedicated to the results of activities in 2024 regarding the fight against crime, the protection of public order, and ensuring public safety, as well as the tasks ahead for the current year. 

On January 14, under the leadership of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov, an operative meeting was held on the results of service and combat activity of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 2024.

An event dedicated to the memory of Heydar Aliyev was held at the Military Institute of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The 2nd high-level meeting of the Regional Network of European Traffic Police Organizations on "Traffic Police Activities on Road Safety" was held in Baku, organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and initiated by the World Health Organization on December 10-11.
