Within the framework of the 5th Extraordinary Summit of the Board of Directors of the Police Community of the Americas (AMERIPOL), the representation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the organization with observer status was ensured.

On 14 July, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Vilayət Eyvazov, met in the city of Shusha with the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Matúš Šutaj Eštok, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, and the delegation headed by him.

On 9 July, a Board Meeting was held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs to review the results of operational and service activities for the first six months of 2026 and discuss the tasks ahead.

On the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Police, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Vilayət Eyvazov, together with the leadership of the Ministry, visited the Alley of Honor, where they laid a wreath at the memorial complex of the National Leader Heydər Əliyev. The memory of the distinguished ophthalmologist, academician Zərifə Əliyeva, was honored with deep respect. They also visited the Alley of Martyrs, where the brave defenders who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic are laid to rest.

A ceremonial event dedicated to the graduation of the 2025–2026 academic year was held at the Military Institute of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The event was attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic, Colonel General Vilayət Eyvazov.

At the invitation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov, Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs Sulkhan Tamazashvili and his delegation arrived in our country on an official visit.

On May 8, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and ADA University.

At the invitation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Chiftchi, and the delegation headed by him arrived in our country on an official visit.
