In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the establishment of temporary special administration in the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation” dated October 29, 2020, the chiefs of the police departments of the liberated regions were appointed temporary commandants of these regions pursuant to the orders signed by the Minister of Internal Affairs Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov.

Implementation of other tasks arising from the above mentioned Decree is also ongoing.
