20.12.201420 December – A ceremonial event took place in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) on the occasion of appointment of the middleweight commanders from among 2014 graduates of the higher educational institutions: Ankara Police Academy and Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Having opened the event, Minister of Internal Affairs of the republic Colonel General Ramil Usubov recalled that the appointment was carried out on the basis of principles of transparency, publicity and fairness and noted that recently such practice is widely used. He stated that appointment of higher legal educational institution graduates of our country and foreign states to the posts of middleweight commanders, young staff skill level improvement program, their overall career advancement for professionalism, nationhood and duty loyalty, diligence, demonstration of due attention and care about young staff are the issues of primary focus of the MIA administration.
Chief of Main Human Resources Department Major General Rafig Abbasov noted that 18 graduates were engaged to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and announced the list of vacancies and job candidates.
Next, a draw was made for assignment to positions. Applicants for the posts of middleweight commanders drew special envelopes with relevant vacancies inside.
Summarizing the event, the Minister of Internal Affairs congratulated young officers and gave recommendations. He noted that resolute struggle against crime the basis for which was laid by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev nowadays successfully carried on by President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev, maintenance of irreversible stability in our country, focus on exemplary protection of human rights and freedoms offer large-scale and demanding challenges to the Internal Affairs Agencies, too.
The Minister also noted that service of the people is a glorious goal and emphasized that it is stability that underlies public tranquility created in our country through efforts of the Internal Affairs Agencies and overall development of all spheres of public life as noted by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev. It was mentioned that progress in this sphere was always highly appreciated by the Head of State.
Ramil Usubov noted with satisfaction that, as noted repeatedly by the National Leader and present President of Azerbaijan, bright future of our country depends on spacious mind, wide world outlook, deep knowledge and diligence of patriotic university-educated young people committed to the nationhood. He stated that necessary measures are taken for promotion of such moral persons possessing business qualities in public administration including the Internal Affairs Agencies and their wider representation in the social and political life of our country.
Having congratulated the graduates again, Ramil Usubov wished them every success in their hard but glorious service and recommended to bear high the title of police, improve their knowledge and experience, cultivate own abilities, join in state-of-the-art technologies, treat citizens’ applications sensitively and swiftly and apply experience of high-skilled associates in the work.
The Minister expressed his confidence that young officers would make every effort in their service of nationhood and remain true to the oath justifying the trust worthily.
