The information by the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Minister of Internal Affairs, colonel - general Ramil Usubov has received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Khaled Usman Gayser on December 3.
 
The minister greeting the guest stated that the relations between both countries have rich history and deep roots, and growth and progress was observed in all fields for last years in the result of political will of the heads of states. Noting the importance of expansion of the cooperation between the relevant organizations of our countries, stated that the mutual visits play an important role in this issue, and reminded his participation in the regional conference titled “the strategies for combating drugs” held in Islamabad two years ago, the meetings of the state leaders of Pakistan and as well as the Minister of Internal Affairs.
 
Then Mr. Ramil Usubov gave brief information on the functions and activity direction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the existing criminal condition in our country, talked about the implemented reforms, adoption of the new laws providing for protection of the human and citizen rights and freedoms. He noted the importance of consolidation of efforts in combating separate appearances of transnational organized crime, as well as international terrorism, illegal turnover of drugs and their precursors, and Pakistan state’s rich experience and the importance of exchange of experience.
 
The Ambassador Khaled Usman Gayseri expressing gratitude for the cordial reception and detailed information reminding with pleasure that the basis of the high level bilateral relations was laid by the respected statesman Heydar Aliyev delivered to the attention that they are happy for the rapid growth of our republic under the leadership of the President Ilham Aliyev, the achievements it obtained as the successes of his country. The ambassador expressing his satisfaction about the tranquility, and safe conditions existing in Azerbaijan in the short period he acted here stated that he would contribute to further development of cooperation in all fields.
