On October 18, on Independence Day, Inauguration Ceremony of Administrative Building of Security Department of Khatai district under the Main Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was held. Deputy Minister, Police Lieutenant-General Oruj Zalov and Chief of Executive Power of Khatai district Razim Mammadov also attended the event.
It was informed that total area of the 2 stored administrative building which construction started in December of last year is 552 m2. All the rooms of the building meeting the latest standards are provided with the necessary equipments, inventory and communication systems, Call Center and other service rooms have already been put into operation. New building contains 17 service rooms, Assembly hall for 50 persons. Moreover, there is ventilation, central heating system, boiling room, communication and electrical lines and other auxiliary areas. The territory has been fenced and renovation, landscape and external lighting works have been carried out.
Deputy Minister Oruj Zalov, who welcomed the personnel of the department and delivered the best wishes of the Minister, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov, said that Main Security Department, as an important body of the ministry, is in the focus of attention of the state and MIA management for their efforts in the fight against crime, protection of the public order and security of state and personal property. He also added that it is also fact that as a result of the successful actions taken by the department, the citizens, facility entrepreneurs apply to the department for protection of their properties. According to the deputy minister, as all other bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, material-technical base of the Security Police is also strengthened and fundamental improvement have been achieved in this regard.  
Chief of the Main Security Department, Major-General Yashar Aliyev, in his speech, said that inauguration of the administrative building on such important day is the gift to the personnel and assured the MIA management that employees of the Security Department will go on to be vigilant while performing their tasks and duties and respond to the attention and the care of the management with worthy activities.
Later the attendees saw the photo stand in the vestibule reflecting rich statehood activity of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, success obtained in the domestic and foreign policy of honourable president Ilham Aliyev, as well as special care and attention applied to the internal affairs bodies. In the end of the event, they visited the Call Center, service rooms, including classrooms furnished with special equipment and computers, as well as assemble hall.
