Crime Analysis for 2005


Analysis of affairs carried out in field of provision of struggle to criminality, public rule and public safety by internal affairs body in 2005.

Protection of human life, their health, of legal positions and property of state, natural and juridical persons from illegal actions, responsibilities on provision of stability and quiet, law rules and public safety were carried out and operation condition was controlled by internal affairs bodies in 2005.
During report period 18049 (+1239 or 7,4% more than the last year), including 17243 (+1033 or 6,4%) crimes were noted on MIA (Ministry of Internal Affairs).
8014  (46,5%) were not creating large public dangerous, 7567 (43,9%) low grave, 1439 (8,3%) were grave and 223 (1,3%) were special grave crimes from the crimes noted on Ministry of Internal Affairs. 6864 crimes (+611 or 9,8% more than 2004) were against personality, 5602 (+273 or 5,1%) were against public safety or public rule, 4044 (+76 or 1,9%) were committed in economy field, but 730 (+71 or 10,8%) crimes were against government from them. One of both crime committed in 2005 was low grave or crime not creating large public dangerous.
 1 of every occurred 8 crime actions was stealing or concerning to narcotic,  but 1 of every 13 crimes was hooliganism.

Clearing of 92,3 % of registered crimes, including 90,1% of deliberate man killing and all gangsterism and hostage crimes were provided.
Deliberate man killing 9 facts (-4,5%, 193 in 2005, 201 in 2004), robbery 6 (-3,5%, 165-171), deliberate grave damage to health 2 (-0,9%, 217-219), deliberate low damage to health 74 (-15,7%, 398-472), hooliganism 112 (-7,6%, 1358-1470), requiring with forcing 10 (-21,3%, 37-47), knavishness 416 (30,9%, 931-1347), smuggling 14 (-20,0 %, 56-70) criminal facts decreased in comparison with 2004 in the structure of crimes.
Stealing 376 facts (+21,2%, 2151-1775), crimes on violation of rules on car operation and road action 244 (+19,2%, 1514-1270), including Road Traffic Accident resulted with death 188 (+34,9%, 726-538), hijacking of vehicles 29 (+30,5% 124-95), robbery 20 (+11,4%, 196-176) facts increased that registered in Republic.
During traffic accident 938 persons died that this is 74,9% of persons died at the result of crime.
During the mentioned period, 159 facts (+44 fact or 38,3% more than 2004) related in human trade were cleared.
The crimes committed by firearm decreased 5,9% (-5, 80-85), but number of crimes committed by previous accused persons decreased 3% (-56, 1838-1894). 
The crimes happened in public places, including street and parks decreased 4,3% (-69,1592-1523) and 8,7% (-63, 727-664).

During the report period, passing of 33,1 kg narcotic means to republic by smuggling way was prevented and 4 facts related in organization of opium den for consumption them were determined. At the result of taken measures, 512 ton in 730 kg weight plant as narcotic in green mass was annihilated and 245,4 kg narcotic means were taken from illegal turnover. 740 facts related in selling of narcotics were cleared that these was 68 facts more than 2004.
1611 persons from 1704 persons called into criminal account related in narcotics are unemployed that having labor ability, 6 persons are under age and 54 persons are women.
Clearing of 338 crimes, including 68 grave and especially grave crimes closed from the last years were provided.
The crimes that committed by foreigners decreased 10,3% (-48, 418-466), number of crimes committed against them decreased 36,2%(-47, 83-130) and number of crimes committed in group form were decreased 5% (-109,2090-2199) in comparison with the last year.
73,3% or 4531 (6178-1647) persons of retrieval accused persons, including 444 persons committed grave crimes were arrested.
Place of 983 (71,1%) from 1382 missed persons were determined.

13410 persons from 17303 persons determined because of committed various crimes were called to account, 2520 (14, 5%) were women, 554 (3,2%) under ages, 15043 (86,9%) unemployed and 1472 (8,5%) were persons committed crime previously from them.
